Summertime Fun – Week Long Sewing for Kids

July 21-July25, 10am-2pm. A total of 20 hours of instruction. Come join us at Madi's Way for a week of sewing fun and activities at Ruby Hill Farm. Available for ages 9 and above, a great opportunity to meet new friends and learn new skills. The week will include a variety of beach themed sewing projects, including: Beach bag with matching towel, Tic Tac Toe quilt board game with a zipper bag, Star fish pillow, beach cover up, and pocket frisbee with a travel pouch. We promise fun surprises for your kids every day. Don't forget to register early! Spots fill fast and the class size is limited. A supply list for all sewing projects will be provided before the first class. A limited number of sewing machines will be available to borrow with advance notice. Please plan on bringing a nutritious bag lunch, drinking water, and snacks. The instructor for this class in Debbie Roberts. No refunds. (The photos on this site represent previous years). Gina Sevigny, a talented sea glass artist and owner of Gina By the Sea, will be hosting a hands-on workshop where you can learn how to create beautiful art pieces using sea glass, shells, driftwood and stones. You will have the opportunity to choose one of three designs. Each person will leave with a project ready to frame. This workshop is perfect to give as a gift or it is perfect to create a gift for Mother's Day. All materials will be provided. Please indicate which picture you would like to create so we have the supplies ready. This workshop is for ages 15 and above.

Beautiful “Welcome” Wall Hanging Embroidered In-the-Hoop

The wall hanging features interchangeable designs that can be updated each month to create a new theme. Each student will receive the embroidery design and pdf instructions.
