Sea Glass by Gina

Come join us for a day filled with creativity and relaxation at Ruby Hill Farm! Gina Sevigny, a talented sea glass artist and owner of Gina By the Sea, will be hosting a hands-on workshop where you can learn how to create beautiful art pieces using sea glass, natural materials, and pen and ink. You will have the opportunity to choose one of three designs. Each person will leave with a project ready to frame. This workshop is perfect to give as a gift or it is perfect to create a gift for Mother's Day. All materials will be provided. This workshop is for ages 15 and above.

Weave a Cracker/Bread Basket

Come join us at Ruby Hill Farm and learn how to weave a beautiful basket perfect for crackers or bread. This basket is woven rectangular basket approximately 4″ tall. Students can choose from a variety of colored reeds to create their own holiday version. Colors include: orange or brown. All baskets are finished with a spray sealing stain in either oak or walnut. Our instructor is Kim Carver and she guarantees everyone will leave with a basket they are proud to use. The workshop is 4 hours in length. Ages 14 and above.

Create Stunning Snowflakes using Paper Quilling

Learn how to make intricate snowflakes using quilling techniques. This fast moving class will teach you how to create tight coils, loose coils, teardrops, marquises, and scrolls. With hands-on guidance, you’ll practice assembling these shapes into a beautiful snowflake ready to give as a gift or keep for yourself. All Supplies will be provided. This program is open to ages 12 and over.

Brighten up your fireplace this holiday season with this colorful elf-inspired stocking, or use it to gift a bottle of wine or olive oil. This in-person event will take place at Madi's Way Schoolhouse at Madi's Way at 2325 Salt Point Turnpike, Clinton Corners, NY 12514. Bring your own sewing machine, fabric, and sewing supplies. Please bring 1/2 yard of exterior fabric, 1/2 yard of lining fabric, and 1/4 yard of fusible fleece interfacing, and matching thread. The pattern and the eyelets will be provided. Don't miss out on this opportunity to continue learning how to sew and create something beautiful to take home with you.

Come join us at Ruby Hill Farm for a festive sewing event where you can create your very own Christmas tree double-sided wall hanging! Get into the holiday spirit and add a personalized touch to your decor this season. Participants need to have basic sewing skills and a working sewing machine. Please bring thread, scissors, pins, and basic supplies. You will need to purchase a ticket for the class at $35 plus a ticket for the kit at $15 which includes all fabric and the star.
